Regional Operations Manager- Phoenix AZ

Location: Washington, DC; Las Vegas, NV; Phoenix, AZ; or San Antonio, TX, USA. The role combines work from an office or home with onsite field operations, occasional office or meeting-location travel, and up to 75% travel to field locations.

Salary: $82,000–$108,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead regional teams in completing technology-system projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
• Manage field installation and maintenance operations, including personnel, vehicles, trailers, inventory, and equipment.
• Plan capacity, forecast staffing and resource needs, and coordinate resource sharing across regions.
• Perform cost analysis, risk assessments, workload prioritization, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate rapid responses to critical maintenance issues and collaborate with clients and the Program Management Office.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, company policies, and Quality Management System processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of experience in advanced communications, security technologies, electronics, and electrical troubleshooting in place of the degree.
• At least one year of first-line supervisory experience and experience leading a dispersed workforce across a geographic region.
• Ability to understand data networks, digital video cameras and recorders, fiber optics, security surveillance, and basic electronics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, strong written and verbal communication, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain required clearance.
• Ability to work at heights of up to 40 feet, lift or move up to 60 pounds, and travel to field locations up to 75% of the time.

Nice to have

• Intrusion detection systems, access control systems, fire suppression systems, or CCTV experience.
• PMP certification, obtainable within one year.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification, obtainable within six months.
