ISO PPC - Field Representative (Insurance)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States (Remote); frequent travel to municipalities, fire stations, infrastructure sites, and other client locations within the assigned territory.

Annualized base salary: $45,000–$65,000 USD, depending on geographic location, knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Consult with municipal officials, fire departments, and water authorities to collect and validate fire protection data.
• Conduct onsite evaluations and remote assessments of community fire protection systems.
• Evaluate emergency communications, fire alarm dispatch procedures, fire department readiness, staffing, equipment, training, and resource distribution.
• Assess water supply networks, hydrant distribution, hydraulic capacity, fire flow adequacy, and supporting infrastructure.
• Compile findings and prepare detailed reports supporting Public Protection Classification assessments.
• Review building data and property characteristics to support insurance risk assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Fire Science, Engineering, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret technical data.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to produce concise reports.
• Proficiency with data collection tools, mapping systems, and standard business software.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment and manage territory-based responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Nice to have

• Experience with fire protection systems, municipal services, water systems, or insurance risk assessment.
