Field Operations Manager, Wrap Installation (Automotive)

Location: Remote CA; role requires full-time on-site work at partner vehicle delivery facilities in Ontario, California, with travel up to 20% to multiple sites within the region.

Annual base pay: $105,875–$158,813 USD.

What you will do

• Own wrap installation quality through regular audits, defect identification, and real-time corrective action.
• Train and coach partner installation teams on hirify.global’s SOPs and ensure consistent execution.
• Track throughput, defect rate, cycle time, and SLA compliance, providing root cause analysis and recommendations to leadership.
• Resolve customer complaints and warranty claims originating from assigned sites within defined SLAs.
• Validate wrap kit receiving, VIN-to-kit matching, and inventory handling processes.
• Support new partner site launches, improve installation workflows, and build strong operating relationships with delivery partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in field operations, manufacturing operations, quality management, automotive services, or a related role.
• Experience auditing production or installation work, identifying defects, and driving corrective actions.
• Experience training and coaching frontline teams on procedures, work instructions, or quality standards.
• Strong communication, relationship management, data interpretation, and process execution skills.
• Willingness to work on-site at partner locations full-time during launch and regularly afterward, with up to 20% regional travel.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive reconditioning, dealership operations, fleet services, or vehicle aftermarket.
• Experience working at dealership, reconditioning, distribution, or other third-party facilities.
• Knowledge of DPMO tracking, first-pass yield, root cause analysis, or 8D methodology.
• Experience building operational dashboards or managing fulfillment receiving and inventory processes.
• Familiarity with vinyl wrap installation, large-format graphics, or vehicle personalization products.
