Workday Data Conversion Lead (Workday)

Location: Client site in Reston, Virginia; must be local to the Washington, DC metropolitan area or willing to relocate, with onsite work in customer SCIF environments 3–4 days per week. Approximately 5% travel within the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region is required.

Salary: $89,886–$175,444 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the data conversion workstream for a complex Workday implementation supporting an Intelligence Community customer.
• Develop and manage conversion strategies, plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate data extraction, profiling, mapping, harmonization, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation across multiple client organizations.
• Plan and support multiple Workday data loads and conversion cycles through testing, deployment, and go-live.
• Coordinate with Workday configuration, integration, testing, security, data owners, stakeholders, and technology partners.
• Lead conversion team members, manage risks and issues, and maintain conversion documentation and readiness reporting.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI favorability and CI polygraph are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years supporting HRIS, HCM, ERP, or enterprise technology implementations, including significant data conversion, migration, or integration experience.
• 5+ years of Workday implementation experience and experience leading end-to-end conversion workstreams for at least two large-scale Workday implementations.
• Current Workday HCM Data Loading Services Certification.
• Experience with Workday data loading, ETL, SQL, data analysis, data quality, reconciliation, legacy-system conversion, and source-to-target mapping.
• Experience leading teams, managing cross-workstream dependencies, and working with business and technical data owners in secure or regulated environments.

Nice to have

• Federal government, Department of Defense, or Intelligence Community Workday implementation experience.
• Additional Workday certifications or experience with specialized data preparation, conversion, or migration platforms.
• Experience with multi-organization data harmonization, consolidation, and multiple secure customer environments.
• Familiarity with federal HR data, legacy HR systems, NIST controls, and cybersecurity practices for sensitive data.
