Technical Workday Manager (Workday)

Location: Jersey City, United States

Salary: $140,000–$190,000 base salary in New Jersey or $130,000–$180,000 in Massachusetts, plus an annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead Workday integration developers and provide technical guidance for inbound and outbound integrations.
• Design and oversee integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, BIRT, XML, XSLT, and Workday Orchestrate.
• Manage vendor integrations and production support for payroll, benefits, ServiceNow, and background-check providers.
• Oversee Workday Security administration, access governance, audit readiness, and security reviews.
• Partner with HR Systems leads on Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, Talent, and Payroll configuration.
• Lead workshops, translate business requirements into technical documentation, manage releases, and coordinate regression testing.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Workday experience in HCM configuration, integration, and/or security.
• Experience supporting or leading full-lifecycle Workday implementations or major tenant refreshes.
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of data governance, SOX controls, SDLC management, and security best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, identify risks, solve problems independently, and meet deadlines.
• Prior management experience is preferred.
