SAP Data Migration Lead

Salary: $125,300–$167,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop SAP data migration strategy, execution plans, data resource plans, and schedules.
• Lead the migration lifecycle from source identification and data mapping through extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading.
• Coordinate with business process owners, SAP functional leads, and SAP technical teams to define scope and manage delivery deadlines.
• Plan mock migrations, configure mock data loads, and build mock migration dashboards.
• Lead data mapping workshops and develop migration processes in SAP Data Services.
• Create and maintain data conversion documents and report migration status to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience with industry-standard extract, transform, and load methodology.
• 10+ years of SAP experience with SAP Data Services or other ETL tools.
• Hands-on experience with SAP data migration technologies, including S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and LSMW.
• Experience in one or more SAP domains, such as Finance and Controlling, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Manufacturing, or Supplier Relationship Management.
• Experience analyzing SAP data, SAP data models, table structures, and SAP Query (SQVI).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional and technical specifications and work across business and development teams.

• Experience working in Waterfall or Agile environments.
