Workday Data Conversion- Senior Application Consultant (Workday)

Salary: $73,150–$210,250 base compensation range

What you will do

• Analyze legacy source-system data and define conversion requirements for Workday implementations.
• Extract, cleanse, transform, map, and prepare HR, payroll, finance, and talent data for migration.
• Develop and maintain data-mapping documents, conversion rules, and load schedules.
• Execute data loads using Workday Enterprise Interface Builder and other Workday data-loading tools.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance while resolving data-related issues with business, functional, and technical teams.
• Support mock conversions, testing cycles, cutover planning, deployment, and go-live readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Experience supporting Workday HCM, Payroll, Financial Management, Talent, or related modules.
• Strong understanding of data migration, conversion methodologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Workday EIB, Workday Studio, reporting, and integrations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, data analysis, and data-cleansing techniques.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder-management, and project-timeline management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with full-cycle Workday implementations or transformation programs.
• Knowledge of data governance, data-quality frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with multiple mock conversions, deployments, and production cutovers.
• Active Workday certifications.
