Location: Austin, United States; hybrid work

Salary: $144,000–$234,000 per year for candidates based in the United States. OTE is stated as $128,842–$209,368 per year and is not included in the primary salary range.

What you will do

• Build capabilities for dynamic, personalized in-product experiences that adapt to user behavior in real time.
• Develop systems for message definition, composition, targeting, delivery semantics, and analytics.
• Contribute to the dashboard used by brands and UX teams to manage in-product messaging.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Drive complex initiatives from ambiguity through delivery and guide architectural decisions.
• Provide technical leadership and communicate design decisions clearly.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience leading complex projects from ambiguity to delivery.
• Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup based in Austin, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience building software at immense scale, especially reliable customer-facing platforms.
• Professional experience with Ruby, Sidekiq, TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.
• Experience with agile development processes.
