What you will do

• Scope, plan, and lead large-scale technical initiatives aligned with business priorities and product roadmaps.
• Design, build, and optimize scalable systems across the stack using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Deliver production-grade features end-to-end while maintaining high standards for performance, security, and reliability.
• Improve codebases and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring clean architecture and best practices in testing and deployment.
• Act as a technical mentor, coaching junior and mid-level engineers to foster a culture of learning.
• Experiment with and integrate emerging tools, including AI/ML applications, to elevate team performance.

Requirements

• 8–15 years of professional software development experience with a track record of driving org-level architectural decisions.
• Strong frontend expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Backend proficiency in Node.js (experience with Kotlin is a plus).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Deep proficiency in system design, AWS cloud infrastructure, and API management.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.

• Experience with social networking platforms.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools like Copilot or Cursor.
• Experience with monitoring solutions such as DataDog.
