Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer (Microsoft Azure)

Location: Hybrid position based in the Munich, London, or Milan office

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize complex network and security infrastructures across global offices.
• Design and maintain secure network architectures in Microsoft Azure and administer Check Point SASE or comparable security platforms.
• Plan and deliver new office network infrastructures, including solution design, evaluation, implementation, and vendor coordination.
• Administer switching and wireless networks, including Aruba environments, configuration, updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Manage security hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch management, monitoring, alerting, Veeam backups, and recovery procedures.
• Administer Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, while providing second- and third-level infrastructure support.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in network engineering, IT infrastructure, or systems administration.
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure networking and Check Point SASE or comparable enterprise network security solutions.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, DNS, DHCP, enterprise switching, and wireless networking.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions, infrastructure projects, external vendors, security hardening, patch management, and monitoring.
• Fluent English is required; strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer-focused skills are expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with Aruba switching and wireless solutions.
• Experience with Veeam backup environments.
• Experience administering Barracuda firewalls, VLANs, firewall rules, and VPNs.
• Additional European languages.
