Vice President, Product Design (Insurtech)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $225,000–$250,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end customer journey across policyholder and carrier-facing product experiences.
• Lead and scale a design organization covering UX, UI, design systems, and research.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to connect design decisions with business and customer outcomes.
• Establish and maintain a design system and pattern library across product squads.
• Represent design at the executive level and influence roadmap and prioritization through business cases.
• Build scalable design operating rhythms, including critiques, research cadences, and design reviews.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience, including 5+ years in a design leadership role owning a team and portfolio.
• Ability to connect design decisions to revenue, retention, or operational outcomes.
• Experience building or scaling a design function, including design systems and design operations.
• Experience owning customer journeys across consumer-facing and enterprise audiences.
• Strong point of view combined with a collaborative leadership style.
• Experience in fintech, insurtech, or another high-trust, high-compliance B2B2C environment is strongly preferred.
