Senior Product Designer (& UX-pert) (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States, hybrid, or onsite in New York City or San Francisco

Salary: $153,000–$168,300 annual base salary for remote US roles; $180,000–$198,000 for roles based in NYC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Seattle, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for major product enhancements, from problem framing through launch.
• Research payroll operators and platform partners to understand use cases and optimal workflows.
• Design interaction models, product architecture, surfaces, and workflows for complex payroll operations.
• Prototype, iterate, and improve existing product patterns using user and cross-functional feedback.
• Partner with engineering, product, design leadership, marketing, and creative teams.
• Help evolve product design standards and improve the overall quality of design across hirify.global.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI research, UX/UI design, or a similar role.
• Experience designing complex software, infrastructure products, workflow-driven products, or operational software.
• Strong UX instincts, systems thinking, visual design judgment, and experience with complex workflows and data-heavy interfaces.
• Experience conducting user research and translating insights into product improvements.
• Ability to independently drive ambiguous design problems from discovery through shipped product.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, developer tools, enterprise platforms, or similar domains.
• Judgment around applying AI in product design.
