Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Vancouver, BC, or remote in the US West Coast; the Vancouver office is hirify.global's headquarters.

Salary: CA$140,000–CA$200,000 in Vancouver or $140,000–$200,000 for remote US West Coast work, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of product features from concept through iteration and delivery.
• Use AI agents, primarily Claude, to prototype and build user interfaces.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver frontend code and optimize user experiences from feedback.
• Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and designers to refine requirements and solutions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, and design web and mobile interfaces across devices.
• Present concepts, prototypes, and production demos while owning the user experience output of a product team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional design experience.
• Experience with Claude Code, Claude Design, or equivalent AI tooling for producing user interfaces.
• Experience facilitating user research and testing.
• Experience working with and developing design systems.
• Experience collaborating with development teams to push production code.
• Online or PDF portfolio, including any required passwords.

Nice to have

• Experience in a fintech startup or with marketplace design.
• Frontend engineering experience with React.
