Product Design Lead (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead and manage a small team of product designers across multiple teams.
• Prioritise initiatives, manage roadmaps and workflows, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design work.
• Contribute hands-on to strategic product design projects while balancing leadership responsibilities.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, executives, analytics teams, and other stakeholders to translate business goals into user-friendly solutions.
• Use qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, behavioural insights, and data to guide and optimise design decisions.
• Develop scalable design systems using atomic design principles and champion accessibility and inclusive design.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating design team leadership and end-to-end product design solutions across platforms, supported by user research and measurable impact.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing design teams and managing design workflows and operational processes.
• Expertise in UX/UI principles, interaction design, and user research methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Strategic ability to translate product goals into scalable, flexible, and user-centred design solutions.
• Experience in fintech or SaaS, including understanding of financial products, compliance, security, and designing for trust.
