Manufacturing Engineer - 2nd Shift

Location: Onsite in Toledo, Ohio, United States; full-time presence at the Toledo plant required. Second shift: 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. Weekend work required.

What you will do

• Support continuous improvement projects and approve process documentation.
• Diagnose, analyze, and document emergent tooling issues and implement permanent corrective solutions.
• Design, analyze, and implement product, machinery, equipment, and manufacturing process improvements.
• Create engineering sufficiency plans and evaluate process and equipment expenditures.
• Ensure suppliers follow required quality, manufacturing, and company standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams, train others, and provide direction to a small group of technical employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of process engineering disciplines and manufacturing systems principles.
• High analytical ability, including structured problem-solving experience such as RedX or Design for Six Sigma methods.
• Experience troubleshooting production equipment and understanding products, processes, and failure modes.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with autonomy, accountability, initiative, and strong teamwork.

Nice to have

• Experience with gear and aluminum machining.
• Experience with assembly processes and testing and verification systems.
