Program Manager (Navy Nuclear Propulsion)

Annual salary: $150,000–$170,000

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams responsible for delivering program commitments and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Own approximately 60% of the business unit’s annual P&L and report operational income, sales, cash flow, working capital, and return-on-sales metrics to senior management.
• Manage sales plans, delivery reports, project schedules, budgets, contingencies, and recovery plans.
• Support RFQs and ITBs, bid/no-bid decisions, commercial reviews, negotiations, order bookings, and annual sales targets.
• Coordinate customer audits, surveillance inspections, project progress reporting, warranty projects, and supplier material planning.
• Identify program risks, develop contingency plans, support customer and supplier visits, and communicate concerns to senior management.

Requirements

• US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance are required.
• At least five years of program management experience with familiarity with technical and engineering specifications and procedures.
• Experience developing and managing detailed program budgets, reporting financial results to senior management, and applying Earned Value Management Systems and risk management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures for high-complexity product lines, with prior engineering or operations experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer relationship, communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project; prior mainframe application or Oracle ERP experience is beneficial.
