Benchwork Technician II, Second Shift (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite, second shift

Salary: $24.86–$37.28 USD; 50-hour workweek with 10 guaranteed overtime hours per week and a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

• Collaborate with vendors to order tooling and maintain general inventory.
• Track used cutters, cutting tool holders, and other used tooling in a live inventory.
• Deburr machined parts according to engineering drawings and verify surface finishes.
• Clean and prepare components for further processing.
• Maintain shop housekeeping and perform routine maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in benchwork and/or clean line operations.
• Experience post-processing machined components from the machine shop.
• Experience with precision deburring of sharp edges.
• Experience performing borescope inspections and preventive maintenance on CNC machines.
• Experience with precision cleaning and handling of components.
• Availability for a Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m. Pacific Time shift.

Nice to have

• FOD mitigation experience.
• FOD inspection and removal experience.
