What you will do
- Purchase materials, supplies, machinery, and services for manufacturing facilities.
- Follow up on orders, verify deliveries, approve payments, and maintain purchasing records.
- Coordinate timely part deliveries with suppliers and resolve shipment, receiving, and billing issues.
- Manage demand and supply collaboration, including supplier pull-ins and push-outs to meet MRP requirements.
- Drive inventory and E&Z reduction initiatives.
- Negotiate and execute purchases and RFQs while balancing cost, quality, source reliability, and urgency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1–2 years of related experience.
- Understanding of key business drivers in the industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for explaining complex information.
