CNC Machinist II (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States. Second shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. PT.

Hiring range: $28.07–$42.11 USD per hour, plus a 10% shift differential and 10 guaranteed overtime hours per week.

What you will do

• Set up multi-axis milling and mill-turn CNC machinery.
• Operate CNC mills and lathes to meet production schedules.
• Select and monitor tooling and fixturing to ensure hardware conforms to requirements.
• Develop machining and programming skills as manufacturing capabilities evolve.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and contribute to solutions for new production challenges.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes in a production environment.
• Experience working with manufacturing engineers in R&D or production settings.
• Understanding of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience operating multi-axis CNC machines.
• Availability for a 50-hour second-shift workweek, Monday through Friday.

Nice to have

• Experience programming CNC machines in ESPRIT.
• Experience with DMG Mori/CELOS.
