Medical Assistant - Olathe, KS - 40 hours Weekly

Location: Olathe, Kansas, United States; onsite clinic role, 40 hours per week

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support a primary care physician and deliver an excellent patient experience.
• Prepare exam rooms, escort patients, review medical information, gather updates, and take vital signs.
• Perform blood draws, injections, wound bandaging, procedures, and medication or immunization administration under provider direction and written orders.
• Handle scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, specialist coordination, and clinical documentation.
• Process test results, communicate results as directed, conduct patient outreach, and help identify and address gaps in care.
• Maintain clinical supplies, office equipment, and treatment areas.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
