Senior Value Engineer (SaaS)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid with office attendance three days per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Occasional travel is required for customer workshops and presentations.

What you will do

• Lead value discovery sessions with prospects and customers to identify objectives, pain points, and measurable business value.
• Build financial models including cost-benefit analyses, ROI calculations, and competitive differentiation models.
• Develop and deliver value presentations for technical buyers, finance stakeholders, and C-suite executives.
• Improve value engineering methodologies, discovery frameworks, and supporting tools for the evolving ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and AI landscape.
• Partner with sales, product management, marketing, and customer success to tailor value propositions by customer segment and industry.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in value engineering, management consulting, financial analysis, equity research, or a related discipline within SaaS or technology.
• Strong discovery, data synthesis, business analysis, and value proposition development skills.
• Experience with ROI/TCO modeling, value discovery frameworks, or competitive value frameworks.
• Ability to explain complex financial models to skeptical CFOs and defend modeling assumptions.
• Strong collaboration, communication, project management, delivery, and iteration skills.
