EMEA Accounting Manager

Location: Remote from Czechia or Slovakia, or from offices in Bratislava, Prague, or Brno; full-time

Base salary: €37,300–€47,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and develop an accounting team across multiple jurisdictions.
• Own accounting compliance across 7 jurisdictions and 10 legal entities under US GAAP and local statutory GAAPs.
• Plan and manage statutory and external audits through successful, on-time completion.
• Standardize accounting processes and controls across entities.
• Drive AI and automation adoption to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Legal, HR, auditors, local advisors, and statutory authorities on close, reporting, and compliance.

Requirements

• Experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries and legal entities.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with multiple local statutory GAAPs.
• Demonstrated success leading audits and managing external auditor relationships.
• Experience standardizing and improving processes in multi-entity or multi-country environments.
• Strong people leadership, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
