Senior Finance/Accounting Automation Specialist (AI): Transforming repetitive finance activities across P2P, OTC, invoicing, payments, and reconciliation into reliable, scalable automation with an accent on process mapping, accounting logic, and AI-enabled tools. Focus on validating automation outputs, improving process reliability, and measuring gains in manual effort, processing speed, data accuracy, and financial closing.
Location: Prague, Czech Republic; hybrid with three days in the office and two days home office
Company
is developing an automated, data-driven and AI-enabled finance function within its Shared Service Centre.
What you will do
- Map end-to-end finance processes across P2P, OTC, invoicing, payments and reconciliation.
- Identify repetitive, inefficient and error-prone activities suitable for automation.
- Improve invoice and payment matching, bank statement processing, purchase order workflows, settlements, reconciliations and payment reminders.
- Translate finance requirements into process and automation logic and work with IT, technical stakeholders and internal AI agents.
- Test automation outputs, validate accounting and business logic, monitor processes and investigate issues.
- Support implementation, adoption, documentation and training across finance and SSC teams while tracking operational impact.
Requirements
- Experience with finance process improvement, ERP implementation, finance systems or automation projects.
- Good understanding of accounting and finance processes, especially P2P, OTC, invoicing, payments or reconciliation.
- Ability to map processes, identify root causes and translate business needs into system requirements.
- Experience working with finance teams and technical stakeholders, plus exposure to automation or AI tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to finance users.
- Fluent English required; Czech or Slovak is advantageous but not mandatory.
Nice to have
- Shared Service Centre experience.
- Knowledge of NetSuite or another major ERP system.
- Experience with AI agents, workflow tools or automation platforms.
- Background in consulting, finance transformation or ERP implementation.
