Global Supply Manager, Avionics (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead sourcing and supplier management for major vehicle structures and avionics-related commodities.
• Develop supply chain strategies covering supplier selection, long-term agreements, and capacity planning for Terran R build schedules.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, Planning, and other stakeholders to support design for manufacturability and program milestones.
• Drive supplier performance through risk management, contract negotiations, milestone tracking, KPIs, and recovery plans.
• Mentor team members and build expertise in aerospace manufacturing processes and supplier development.
• Improve sourcing processes, supplier health, and program readiness for relevant commodities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement.
• Experience managing suppliers for complex aerospace or advanced manufacturing commodities.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing milestone-based agreements.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as LN, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, including machining, PCB/PCBA manufacturing, and harness manufacturing.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.
• Direct experience managing aerospace avionics commodities such as PCBs, PCBAs, machined components, harnesses, EEE components, or instrumentation.
• Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, supplier qualifications, and audit processes.
• New Product Development or New Product Introduction supply chain experience in aerospace or frontier technology.
• Proficiency in supplier risk assessment, cost modeling, and capacity planning.
