Global Supply Manager (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in Huntington Beach, California, United States

Salary: $120,000–$195,000 annual base salary, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead supply chain strategy and execution for propulsion systems, solid rocket motors, propulsion structures, thermal protection hardware, ignition systems, and related qualification and test hardware.
• Develop category and supplier strategies, identify and onboard suppliers, and establish preferred suppliers for energetics categories.
• Partner with Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, Test, and Procurement to align sourcing, qualification, integration, and delivery with program milestones.
• Own demand planning, forecasting, and material-readiness assessments across development, qualification, low-rate initial production, ramp-up, and sustainment.
• Manage supplier performance, open orders, non-conformances, manufacturing readiness reviews, qualification planning, and production ramp strategies.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor supply chain KPIs, improve resilience and cost, and brief leadership on risks, readiness, and mitigation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations Management, Business, or an equivalent qualification; 10+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least 5 years of supply chain experience in mechanical, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or other technically complex hardware categories.
• Experience with supplier management, sourcing strategy, contract negotiation, MRP/ERP systems, demand planning, and complex BOMs.
• Experience working in development, qualification, or production environments with evolving technical requirements.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance is required.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment may be conditioned on authorization to receive technology controlled under ITAR/EAR without export-license sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with propulsion systems, unmanned systems, robotics, aerospace applications, or energetics such as munitions, missiles, ordnance, or payloads.
• Advanced knowledge of ITAR, EAR, NDAA, and hazardous-material transport requirements.
• Experience with supplier qualification, performance management, advanced supply chain analytics, optimization tools, rapid production ramps, and scalable manufacturing.
