Sourcing Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Redondo Beach, United States; onsite. Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Salary: $115,000–$155,000 per year, plus potential stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop sourcing strategies for hardware, materials, ground support equipment, tooling, and other indirect spend categories.
• Analyze supply chain risks, market trends, lead times, supplier capabilities, and demand to build disruption mitigation strategies.
• Lead vendor onboarding, supplier tiering, qualification, RFQs, negotiations, and performance management.
• Define and track supplier SLAs and KPIs covering cost, quality, delivery, and business results.
• Partner with planning, inventory, operations, design, manufacturing, and quality teams on forecasts, BOMs, production schedules, and preferred supplier relationships.
• Manage inventory, outsourced-part logistics, drop shipments, purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and cost optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Materials, Production Planning, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, and vendor relationship management.
• At least 5 years of experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
• Experience with manufacturing or production environments and mechanical component manufacturing processes.
• Strong data analysis skills with Excel, SQL, and Power BI; experience building dashboard tools is preferred.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements and be able to work onsite in Redondo Beach.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Materials, Production Planning, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant supply chain, procurement, logistics, and vendor management experience.
• Experience with machining, additive manufacturing, COTS components, metal raw materials, PCB/PCBA, composites, or aerospace and space-related components.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
