Senior Manager, Engineering

Location: Remote-first in the United States, British Columbia, and Ontario, Canada

US base compensation: $217,000–$310,000 annually, depending on geographic zone. Canada base compensation: 270,000–338,000 CAD annually. The role is also eligible for a company-wide bonus program.

What you will do

• Set the technical and product direction for a code-native web-building experience with high-fidelity round-tripping between visual and code surfaces.
• Lead the integration of coding agents into the web-building experience.
• Own the developer experience across core primitives, APIs, tooling, and feedback loops.
• Turn an emerging technical problem space into a coherent roadmap that balances foundational platform work with customer-facing capabilities.
• Shape architecture, lead design reviews and prototypes, resolve complex technical decisions, and contribute hands-on when useful.
• Hire, coach, and develop engineers while building a high-performing technical culture across partner teams.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams building developer products, platforms, or technically complex product surfaces.
• Technical depth in areas such as compilers, code generation, language tooling, IDEs, or developer infrastructure.
• Experience building with AI or agentic systems, or the ability to develop deep expertise in the area quickly.
• Experience turning ambiguous technical problems into usable customer-facing systems while balancing architecture and delivery.
• Strong technical leadership, coaching, and team-development skills.
