Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the NYC office

Base Pay Range: $230,000–$250,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead and grow a high-autonomy, high-accountability engineering team.
• Pair with engineers to prototype, debug, and deliver robust user-facing product experiences.
• Drive AI initiatives from experimentation through secure, reliable production deployment.
• Set technical direction and improve architecture, system behavior, quality, and scalability.
• Frame ambiguous problem spaces, run learning loops, and measure member and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Clinical, and the London engineering team.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams with accountability for technical execution, delivery, architecture, development, and production quality.
• Experience delivering complex, user-facing, AI-native products from system design through production and iteration.
• Ability to hire, mentor, and develop engineers across multiple career stages.
• Strong technical judgment and experience balancing experimentation, technical debt, scalability, speed, and quality.
• Experience partnering with Product, Design, Data, and Clinical teams to align technical work with user, clinical, and business outcomes.
• Must be able to work in the NYC office 3 days per week; visa sponsorship is not available.
