What you will do

• Lead a team of Product Engineers delivering experiences from student enrollment and program completion through placement in healthcare jobs.
• Remove blockers, improve delivery processes, and support sustainable, continuous team improvement.
• Develop engineers through feedback, personalized growth plans, and opportunity matching.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Operations across discovery, planning, and execution.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard engineers while building a high-trust, psychologically safe team culture.
• Contribute approximately 20% of the time through code reviews, architecture design, documentation, and individual coding.

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct experience managing software engineers.
• 6+ years of experience building software products with a strong full-stack engineering background.
• Hands-on builder mentality with the ability to engage deeply in code reviews, architecture, and technical decisions.
• Experience partnering with Product and Design through the full discovery, planning, and execution lifecycle.
• Experience at a high-growth startup in B2C, B2B2C, EdTech, or HealthTech.
• Experience improving engineering systems such as CI/CD, developer experience, and delivery velocity.
