GT Broach Operator

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; Monday–Friday, 5:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Set up and operate Detroit Chain, LaPointe, and Forst broaching machines.
• Install and align tooling, prepare fixtures, and load components.
• Monitor machine performance, tooling condition, and production quality.
• Inspect components with precision measuring instruments and gauges against drawings and specifications.
• Adjust machine feeds, strokes, and setups to maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and process issues while operating forklifts and cranes safely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing, machining, mechanical assembly, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand machine operations and tooling interactions.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, layouts, and work instructions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Forklift, Critical Lift Crane, and ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Silver Level or higher certifications.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization is required.
