Wind Technician (Wind Energy)

Location: Haleiwa, Hawaii, United States; onsite at the Kawailoa wind farm. Travel up to 50% to customer sites within and outside the United States is required.

Base salary: $57,800–$85,500 per year, plus eligibility for a Gain Share program.

What you will do

• Service and maintain hirify.global wind turbines at the Kawailoa wind farm.
• Support an additional wind farm site in Hawaii as part of a mobile service team.
• Improve field procedures and standard work methodologies.
• Analyze and resolve equipment and operational problems independently.
• Provide customer service and take on additional responsibilities at an operating wind farm.
• Work safely in elevated, confined, hazardous, and extreme-weather environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including PLC programming and converters.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a team, prioritize work, and maintain high quality standards.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs up to 300 feet, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding work.
• Body weight of 265 pounds or less, successful completion of a physical test, and ability to meet the role’s physical demands.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and eligibility to hold a valid passport.
