Service Technician (Wind Energy)

Location: Pomeroy, Washington, United States; relocation may be offered, with flexible travel of up to 25%.

Salary: $50,000–$60,000 per year.

What you will do

• Service and maintain wind turbines.
• Troubleshoot turbine errors and resolve issues efficiently.
• Escalate complex technical issues to supporting engineering functions.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high performance on wind farms.
• Contribute to the development of new field procedures and deliver customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred; an associate degree in a related field is a plus.
• At least six months of experience in mechanical, electrical, industrial, hydraulic, or maintenance work.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work suspended at heights and in confined spaces, meet the 265-pound body-weight limit, and pass a physical examination.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and resolve problems independently.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice to have

• Certification from a renewable energy or wind technical program.
• Hands-on experience as a wind technician on a wind farm.
