HR Generalist

Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas, United States; on-site five days per week

Salary: $51,800–$73,850 annual base salary

What you will do

• Provide HR counsel to business management teams and support the execution of HR strategies and programs.
• Support talent practices including onboarding, talent development, retention, engagement, and performance management.
• Analyze HR data, prepare reports, and connect HR action plans with business needs.
• Coach and counsel managers on employee relations, workplace issues, corrective actions, and inclusive work practices.
• Handle employee relations concerns, complaints, and allegations while monitoring employee climate and engagement trends.
• Manage HR administration related to recruiting, onboarding, payroll, employee records, and other assigned activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Broad HR Generalist experience, including employee relations, recruiting, and knowledge of local and federal employment law.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, project management, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts and travel approximately 5%.
• Plant-environment experience is strongly preferred; HRMS, Workday, or UKG experience is a plus.
