What you will do

• Connect scientific theory with mechanical engineering design to create novel products.
• Develop custom automation solutions and turnkey industrial machines for customer requirements.
• Build breadboards and refined prototypes through hands-on engineering work.
• Communicate design rationale and explain why solutions address client challenges.
• Collaborate with scientists, electrical and optical engineers, manufacturing partners, and industrial designers.
• Use available engineering tools to deliver results in a streamlined environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Broad technical background and willingness to continue learning.
• Experience with 3D CAD; SolidWorks is preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as injection molding, machining, sheet metal, and casting.
• Experience designing biomedical products.
