Sr Machinist

Location: Chanhassen, Minnesota, United States. Onsite second-shift schedule: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Salary: $25.00–$35.00 per hour, plus second-shift differential pay. Sign-on bonus available for select candidates.

What you will do

• Manufacture metal parts using CNC multi-axis lathes with live tooling and CNC vertical milling machines.
• Read drawings and inspection sheets and perform basic machine setups using setup sheets and on-the-job guidance.
• Prove out new CNC programs and recommend improvements to existing programs and tooling.
• Inspect and measure manufactured parts using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection instruments.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance on CNC machines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC multi-axis lathes with live tooling preferred; relevant equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC milling machines preferred; relevant equivalent experience may be considered.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience measuring parts with calipers, micrometers, and other inspection instruments.
• Must be a U.S. Person and eligible to access potentially export-controlled information.
