CNC Machinist

Location: Chanhassen, Minnesota, United States; onsite. 1st shift runs Monday to Friday with flexible start times between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. CST. 2nd shift runs Monday to Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Must be a U.S. Person.

Salary: $25.00–$35.00 per hour. Second shift receives differential pay.

Manufactures Exlar electromechanical linear roller screw actuators, rotary servo motors, and integrated control solutions for industrial applications.

What you will do

• Produce metal parts to specification using CNC machine tools.
• Set up CNC machines using setup sheets and on-the-job training.
• Prove out new CNC programs and recommend improvements to existing programs and tooling.
• Inspect and measure manufactured parts using drawings, inspection sheets, calipers, micrometers, and other instruments.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance and machine maintenance as required.

Requirements

• Experienced machinist with strong machine setup and inspection skills.
• Preferred 5+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC machine tools; comparable experience and skills may be considered.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection instruments.
• Must be a U.S. Person and eligible to access export-controlled information.
