Sourcing and Category Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: Fully onsite in Spokane, Washington, United States

Salary: $70,000–$115,000 per year, with potential performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead supplier sourcing, RFP and RFI processes, supplier selection, contract negotiations, contracting, renewals, and performance resolution.
• Partner with business owners to align supplier relationships with strategic goals and business needs.
• Oversee contract renewals and ensure contracts are reviewed and acted on proactively.
• Plan periodic supplier engagement reviews and address supplier performance issues.
• Coordinate quarterly business reviews with high-spend, business-critical, and highly visible suppliers.
• Manage stakeholders through proactive communication, prioritization, timely updates, and project ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Supply Chain preferred; an MBA is also preferred.
• 4–7 years of demonstrated supplier management experience with increasing responsibility across indirect spend categories required.
• Knowledge of contracting principles and contract negotiations.
• Analytical and Excel experience, including building tables and pivot tables for data comparison and analysis.
• Project management and stakeholder management experience.
• Availability for occasional travel.
