Engineering Lead - Network (TypeScript)

Location: Remote (Canada)

Salary: $130,000–$200,000 per year

hirify.global is building an operating system for communications service providers covering billing, operations, automation, network monitoring, incident management, inventory, and fulfillment.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a squad of four full-stack developers through 1:1s, feedback, evaluations, and technical guidance.
• Own the technical vision and architecture for Network Monitoring and Inventory & Fulfillment modules.
• Build monitoring, provisioning, incident management, network modeling, IP address management, inventory, and fulfillment features.
• Integrate with third-party network vendors and operators, including OLT and CPE platforms.
• Design, develop, and deploy GraphQL APIs for internal and external use.
• Partner with Product, Design, Customer Success, Implementation, and other engineering squads on planning and customer onboardings.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience with TypeScript.
• At least two years of experience leading a team of developers.
• Experience with React, Node, DevOps, and AWS services.
• Advanced agentic coding practice and experience using AI to ship production-quality software.
• Ability to handle uncertainty, structure ambiguous challenges, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong product mindset and experience with technical design, code reviews, and engineering productivity.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Calix, Nokia, Adtran, TP-Link, UISP, Tarana, NetBox, or RADIUS.
• Interest or expertise in functional programming.
