Engineering Lead (TypeScript/Node.js/Go/React)

Location: United Kingdom (remote)

Salary: £120,000–£150,000 per year

What you will do

• Contribute across the stack to deliver end-to-end product features using backend technologies or React.
• Recruit, manage, and develop a focused team of engineers responsible for a critical product area.
• Design and evolve technical architecture to support rapidly increasing scale.
• Lead projects and make product decisions based on customer interactions.
• Represent Product and Engineering values internally and externally.

Requirements

• Experience designing secure, scalable, and reliable backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of modern cloud architectures using GCP or AWS.
• Deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, Go, or React.
• Experience hiring and managing a team of Security Engineers and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas and influence decisions.
• Experience and aptitude for leading and growing an engineering team.
