Pharmacist, Closed Door | Onsite- Pflugerville, Texas

Location: Onsite in Pflugerville, Texas, with some potential for work from home for 12pm–8pm shifts.

What you will do

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee accurate data entry from providers and receiving pharmacies.
• Receive, process, and transfer prescriptions while owning each transfer through completion.
• Verify filled prescriptions for drug, dose, quantity, labeling, and dispensing accuracy.
• Clinically review new and refill prescriptions for appropriateness, interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy.
• Counsel patients by phone on prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and medication use.
• Collaborate with prescribers and pharmacy leadership to resolve clinical issues and maintain compliance with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active Texas and California pharmacy licenses in good standing are required.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; mail-order, specialty, or closed-door fulfillment pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required.
• Strong command of English is required.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, technical aptitude, and ability to learn complex software.

Nice to have

• Active pharmacy licenses in AK, AL, AR, GA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, MS, NE, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, VA, WV.
• Experience in mail-order, specialty, or closed-door fulfillment pharmacy.
