Certified Pharmacy Technician

Location: Mesa, Arizona, United States; on-site. Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm. The role requires active registration and an active Certified Pharmacy Technician license in the State of Ohio.

What you will do

• Compound non-sterile medications, including tablets, solutions, suspensions, gummies, creams, and lotions, after completing certification.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain compounding equipment and designated workspaces.
• Stage raw materials and manage non-sterile compounding inventory.
• Maintain batch records, ingredient logs, cleaning logs, and other required documentation.
• Follow site procedures, safety protocols, USP <795> and USP <800> requirements, and applicable state and federal laws.
• Complete site training, competency assessments, and annual revalidation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active registration and license as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Ohio.
• At least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Familiarity with USP <795>, USP <800>, and non-sterile compounding processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, documentation, and record-keeping.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance in a regulated environment.

Nice to have

• Previous hospital or compounding experience.
