What you will do

• Operate a Staff Pharmacist II retail pharmacy handling approximately 2,000–3,500 prescriptions per week.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists, technicians, pharmacy care representatives, store leaders, and regional leadership to maintain patient care and customer service standards.
• Manage workflow, quality control, prescription verification, automated processing equipment, third-party adjudication, and pharmacy systems.
• Oversee inventory management, controlled-substance inventories, product quality assurance, returns, and prescription fulfillment accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling, conduct drug utilization reviews, contact prescribers, and support medication therapy management and health screenings.
• Train pharmacy partners, participate in career planning, serve as a certified immunizer and preceptor, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree, either a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy.
• Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) and timely TSBP recertification are required.
• TSBP-certified immunizer status is required.
• Expert knowledge of pharmacy production systems and applications, including RxEVO, RxIMS, PartnerNet, ScriptPro, Kirby Lester, and point-of-sale systems.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, organization, precision, leadership, and prioritization skills.
• Open availability and rotating shifts, including weekends, are required; the role involves standing or sitting for up to 12 hours and lifting up to 20 pounds.

Nice to have

• TSBP Preceptor certification after one year of pharmacy practice.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with hirify.global pharmacy initiatives and operations, including Central Fill, Refill Express, compounding, and specialty operations.
