Senior Director, Technical Training

Salary: $180,600–$258,100 USD per annum

What you will do

• Lead the organization-wide strategy, design, planning, and implementation of technical training across operations.
• Build structured, role- and activity-based on-the-job training and deploy a train-the-trainer model for departmental leaders and site trainers.
• Lead training and knowledge management professionals and provide oversight, mentoring, and performance support to Regional Technical Training Specialists.
• Own technical training and technician qualification programs for operations and maintenance teams, including safety, environmental, equipment, procedural, and regulatory training.
• Manage the GPiLEARN+ training program and LMS, including reporting, compliance readiness, seat licensing, invoicing, and completion tracking.
• Partner with SMEs, QA, enterprise resources, site leaders, and regulatory groups to create compliant materials, job aids, curricula, and training systems.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience creating technical training and leading technical trainers in a manufacturing environment, particularly in operations and maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Science, or Education/Development.
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles and techniques, including training approaches for technical and non-technical subjects.
• Experience with strategic planning, long-range organizational preparation, and solving problems through LEAN methodologies and root-cause analysis.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and large-group communication skills.
