Trade Support Specialist (Crypto)

Location: Chicago or New York City, United States

Annual base salary: $90,000–$130,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Provide operational support for several crypto trading desks.
• Capture trades for futures, futures options, and other products traded by the desks.
• Reconcile trades and positions with clearing houses and brokers.
• Calculate and substantiate daily P&L.
• Master proprietary trade capture, inventory, treasury, and risk management systems.
• Own current processes and support enhancements to trading tools, technology, and workflows in collaboration with traders, researchers, and software engineers.

Requirements

• Strong interest in or working knowledge and experience with crypto.
• Previous experience with version control, Git, Python, Cron, and Linux.
• 2–3 years of experience in front office, middle office, back office, or risk management roles involving exchange-traded and over-the-counter products and derivatives.
• Substantial interaction with front-office teams and senior management in an active trading environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, mathematics, another quantitative field, or equivalent practical exposure.
• Ability to work independently, analyze problems, and implement synthesized solutions.
