Trade Finance Senior Specialist

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid role with three days per week in the office.

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annual base salary plus a target annual bonus.

What you will do

• Process commercial letters of credit, standby letters of credit, bank guarantees, and documentary collections under approved credit facilities.
• Manage daily transaction volumes, complete intraday and end-of-day reconciliations, and meet operational deadlines.
• Authenticate client instructions, process data, maintain records, and prepare operational and management reports.
• Provide timely service to internal and external clients and follow up on open inquiries.
• Identify and document errors, resolve issues with other departments, and reduce risk and exposure.
• Contribute to process improvement projects and provide backup support to team members.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of banking experience; trade finance experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of one or more trade finance or financial services product areas.
• Ability to research, analyze, and resolve problems thoroughly and promptly.
• Strong professional verbal and written communication skills, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Ability to work in a team environment, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
