Trading Operations Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Austin, TX, United States

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 per year, exclusive of bonuses, benefits, and other compensation

What you will do

• Manage clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of trades and positions.
• Maintain accurate books and records while helping prevent operational risk for the firm and its customers.
• Coordinate with traders, finance, compliance, brokers, custodians, and customers to ensure timely trade settlement.
• Analyze operational and trading data to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Work with software engineers to automate operational workflows and enhance system robustness.
• Participate in designing new systems and operational controls.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience; graduates may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, especially in business, finance, economics, engineering, or another quantitative field.
• Strong experience with SQL and Python.
• Outstanding quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate information precisely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Motivation, attention to detail, initiative, flexibility, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
