PRN Medical Assistant - Reedsburg, WI

Pay range: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare and stock exam rooms, and support a positive patient experience.
• Review medical information, gather updated health data, take vitals, perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations under provider direction and written orders.
• Manage front-desk workflows including scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, and specialist coordination.
• Document patient data accurately, process test results, and communicate results according to provider instructions.
• Support patient outreach, care-gap identification, care-plan development, and clinic supply maintenance.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration where required by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Ability to perform clinical and administrative patient-care responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
