TL;DR
Deputy Project Manager (Nuclear): Supporting the execution of customer and internal projects through schedule, deliverable, documentation, resource, and cross-functional coordination with an accent on project reporting, risk tracking, and customer commitments. Focus on coordinating engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, finance, and customer care activities, resolving execution concerns, and gradually taking ownership of more complex projects.

Location: Round Rock, Texas, United States; onsite

Salary: $84,700–$110,000 annually

What you will do

  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day execution of customer and internal projects.
  • Track schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, action items, resources, costs, and customer commitments.
  • Coordinate Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Customer Care, and other supporting departments.
  • Maintain project plans, dashboards, status reports, records, meeting notes, action logs, and change-order documentation.
  • Support customer updates, presentations, project reviews, meetings, and resolution of customer concerns.
  • Own selected lower-risk internal projects and work packages, progressing toward larger and more complex projects.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, manufacturing, engineering, operations, customer service, supply chain, or a similar environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, project management, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational, follow-up, communication, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and nontechnical teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and project-tracking tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, nuclear, industrial manufacturing, or another regulated industry.
  • PMP certification.
