Supplier Project Engineer (Supply Chain)

Location: Remote; supplier visits and 25%–50% or more travel required. hirify.global's technology is subject to U.S. Government export controls, and applicants may need to provide information for U.S. export authorization review.

Salary: $131,828–$171,206 annually; the range is specific to Washington State.

What you will do

• Manage supplier performance and oversee cost, schedule, resources, and contract deliverables.
• Develop statements of work and project plans for supplier projects supporting program objectives.
• Support supplier selection through RFP preparation, bid evaluation, review, and award activities.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between suppliers and hirify.global engineering teams.
• Manage supplier submittals, review workflows, responses, and dispositions.
• Monitor supplier capabilities, organizational changes, and manufacturing activities, including supplier-site visits.

Requirements

• Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear, systems, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10 or more years of experience in supplier oversight.
• Experience defining supplier scopes of work, developing SOWs and RFPs, and directing supplier projects.
• Experience managing suppliers in design and manufacturing environments, including manufacturing travelers, welding, and related processes.
• Experience with project controls, project organization, and contractual or commercial customer-supplier activities.
• Ability to interface technically with engineering groups and understand how mechanical, electrical, and nuclear engineering disciplines interrelate.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing oversight experience.
• Strong communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to integrity, teamwork, and respectful collaboration.
