Scrum Master

Location: Hybrid in Porto, Portugal, with 2 days per week on-site. Candidates must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support effective collaboration within software development teams.
• Coach and mentor team members in Agile principles, frameworks, and practices.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and influence teams at different organizational levels.
• Manage virtual international teams working across different time zones.
• Navigate complex delivery challenges while keeping team success and outcomes central.
• Travel abroad for short periods when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience as a Scrum Master managing Agile software development teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices in complex environments.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, mentoring, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English at B2 level required.
• Hybrid availability in Porto and Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit, required.

Nice to have

• Agile certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• Experience in payments or financial services.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or Trello.
